Are you fascinated by AI, data & technology? Do you want to contribute to the development of the Dr Jekill and Mr Hyde electronically adjustable exhaust systems for motorcycles with smart analyses? Then we have a unique internship assignment for you within our R&D department.
The Challenge
During the development of new exhaust systems, multiple prototypes are built and tested before the perfect result is achieved. This takes time, material, and engineering capacity. Therefore, we want to investigate how Artificial Intelligence can help to make the right design choices faster.
As an intern, you will research whether and how AI can be used to reduce the number of prototype iterations. Using historical design data, measurement results, and practical experience, you will support engineers in making better choices at an early stage of the development process.
In short: you help us develop smarter with data and AI.
What will you do?
• Inventory and analyze available design, test, and measurement data.
• Investigate which AI or data analysis techniques are applicable.
• Create insight into patterns and correlations between design choices and test results.
• Develop a proof of concept or model that supports engineers in prototype choices.
• Consult with fellow engineers to bring practice and data together.
• Present findings and recommendations to the organization.
