Would you like to put your knowledge of data and software development to work on a challenging project within an international, technology-driven company? At The Jekill and Hyde Company, you will have the opportunity to develop a smart data structure that helps our R&D department make better use of test results. It could even form the foundation for future AI applications.
Your challenge
At The Jekill and Hyde Company, we develop innovative, electronically adjustable exhaust systems for motorcycles. It is all about finding the right balance between sound, performance, riding experience, and legal requirements.
To continuously improve our products, our R&D engineers carry out various tests every day. These tests generate a large amount of valuable data. But how do we ensure that all this information is stored in a structured way, is easy to retrieve, and can also be used by an AI agent in the future?
This is where you come in!
As part of your graduation project, you will investigate how we can organise our test data more intelligently. You will then design and develop a suitable database solution to support the further development of our R&D department.
This means you will not be working on a theoretical assignment that eventually ends up on a shelf, but on a real challenge drawn directly from our day-to-day operations.
What will you do?
During your graduation project, you will have the freedom to independently tackle a real R&D challenge. You will investigate how we can organise our test data more effectively and translate your findings into a practical, working solution.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Stakeholder Analysis: You will identify the needs and requirements of the colleagues and users involved.
· As-Is Analysis & Data Audit: You will investigate which test data is available, how it is currently stored, and where there is room for improvement.
· Data Architecture: You will design a suitable structure to make our test data organised and accessible.
· Physical Data Modelling & Infrastructure Setup: You will translate your design into a working database and set up the required infrastructure.
· User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Data Migration: You will investigate how existing data can be transferred and work with users to test whether the solution meets their needs.
· Data Governance: You will consider data quality, access rights, and how to manage the data in a sustainable, future-proof way.
From the initial analysis to a fully functioning solution, you will have the opportunity to shape the entire process and make a valuable contribution to the continued development of our R&D department.
Who are you?
You are a fourth-year bachelor's student in Computer Science who enjoys tackling technical challenges. You are interested in working with data, enjoy thinking up smart solutions, and get excited about building something that will actually be used.
You will also recognise yourself in the following:

· You have an analytical mindset and enjoy investigating problems.
· You can work independently but also actively seek collaboration.
· You enjoy turning theory into practical solutions.
· You are confident asking questions, sharing ideas, and taking initiative.
You certainly do not need to know everything already. Your graduation project is an opportunity to further develop your knowledge and skills.
What can you expect from us?
At The Jekill and Hyde Company, you will join an international organisation where technology, innovation, and a passion for motorcycles come together.
You can expect:
· A challenging graduation project with a tangible end result.
· The freedom to contribute your own ideas and technical insights.
· An inside look at the development of innovative exhaust systems.
· The opportunity to collaborate with colleagues who work on technical development and innovation every day.
· An informal working environment with short communication lines and supportive colleagues.
· The opportunity to make a genuine contribution to the future of our R&D department through your work.
And just as importantly, you will be working on a project that allows you to deepen your knowledge of data management.
