What will you do?
As a financial controller, you play a key role within the organization and the finance team. You are responsible for financial accounting, oversee the financial month-end and year-end closings of the companies, and translate these into clear reports and analyses. You work closely with other departments within the organization and take on a coordinating role for your fellow financial administrative staff. You are a sparring partner for the CFO and contribute to strategic financial policy. You gain energy from engaging in discussions with the organization, challenge them, and translate their needs into financial processes. 

What you are good at and what you enjoy doing
•    Drafting and reviewing financial reports, analyses, and consolidations.
•    Providing data during audits, annual financial statement reviews, and ensuring proper handling of finance-related issues.
•    Investigating and resolving financial administrative questions.
•    Monitoring liquidity positions, accounts receivable and payable, and financial ratios.
•    Co-developing information flows within the ERP system.
•    Initiating and participating in (improvement) projects, focusing on the automation of financial processes.

You will be part of the finance team, consisting of two financial administrative employees and the CFO, to whom you report directly. Additionally, you will work closely with other departments within our organization, such as procurement and sales. 

Here’s how you identify yourself
You have substantial experience in a similar finance role within a manufacturing company. With your progressive attitude and attention to detail, you succeed in grasping processes and working with the finance team on continuous improvement. 

This is what you also possess
•    Available full-time (minimum 32 hours per week).
•    Higher professional education level, at least HBO Accounting or Finance & Control.
•    Minimum 5 years of experience as a financial controller, preferably in manufacturing.
•    Accurate and structured.
•    Strong analytical skills.
•    Focus on optimization and digitization.
•    Experience with Exact, ERP systems, and BI tools.
•    Excellent command of Dutch and English, German is a plus.
