This BMW R nineT was completely rebuilt by Nagel Motors, well at least half of it was. Owner Nic Nagel was contacted by The Jekill and Hyde Company and together a plan was made to create a bike that represents Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde, not only in regards to sound, but also in regards to looks and design. The outcome would be a surprise to everybody, since Nic only gave The Jekill and Hyde team a sketch… they had to wait until the public reveal at the BMW Motorrad Days in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Post-apocalyptic feel

With a lot of eyes watching, the bike was revealed and everybody applauded immediately. Nic and his team really outdid themselves. The result is an R nineT that has literally two faces. The left side of the bike remains almost untouched and shows a clean and proper R nineT that counts as an example for the travel mode/Dr. Jekill mode. Then there is the other side of the bike… the side that represents Mr. Hyde. It’s dark, rough and with lots of rust effects. There is an opening in the tank which shows the elixir that sets Mr. Hyde free. With the green light inside it, it looks like a witches brew. Everything from that side of the bike breathes a twisted and almost post-apocalyptic feel, thus perfectly representing the dark and slightly evil Mr. Hyde side.

Nagel Motors made sure that the bike got an extreme and radical look. However they never lost track of keeping it a working and still easy to ride bike, making ‘the transformation’ one of the most unique bikes we have at the Company and a guaranteed eye-catcher at events.
