It's official: Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde is launching a new and upgraded exhaust system for the BMW R 1200/1250 GS and GSA models. Now that the pre-orders are open, the moment that the public can hear the new Nomad exhaust draws near.
To firsthand experience the exhaust, make sure that you are either at the BMW Motorrad Days in Berlin (02.07-03.07) or at the Wheels and Waves festival in Biarritz (29.06.-03.07.), where the roar of the Nomad will be officially presented for the first time!
The Nomad for BMW has gotten an upgrade on all fronts. A new design that perfectly fits the bike and a sound that is tailor-made for its target audience. More silent that the original exhaust in the Dr. Jekill mode, but roaring and pronounced when the button is pushed and the sound of Mr. Hyde is released. Whether the rider chooses the Dr. Jekill mode, the Mr Hyde mode, or the Dynamic mode in between; the system always makes sure the exhaust is completely legal in all modes.
Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde does not only offer to choose between sounds options, the rider can also choose different design options. The exhaust will be available in black and Pearl Grey. To complete the look the exhaust s finished with a gloss carbon end cap with an aluminium core. This one of a kind end cap gives the exhaust a distinguished look, matching BMW's own 719 line, and makes it recognizable even when cases are mounted on the bike. Finally the header gets covered with a carbon heat shield to blend in with the motorcycle.
