Winter time is (biker)movie time. Between spending time in our configurator and putting together your new exhaust, you might also want to watch another screen and check out some motorcycle movies while your bike is in hibernation. We've selected 5 tips of biker movies/documentaries that can get you through the winter.

21 Days under the sky - All along the Lincoln Highway

A lot of us dream about doing this: going on a road trip through the US. In this documentary 4 bikers ride the Lincoln Highway on their old school choppers. 21 Days under the sky captures the ride, the camaraderie and all the highs and lows that these men encounter on their trip. Watch how they ride their oldtimers through the rough American landscapes. The beautiful images of the journey are combined with the struggles on the road.

Long way Round - Around the world on a BMW

Ewan McGregor is not only an actor, but also an avid motorcycle enthusiast. Together with Charley Boorman Ewan travels the whole world per BMW GS. An adventure that makes you want to get on your bike and ride! The documentary follows their 31.000 km journey from London to New York, riding eastwards, going all the way through Asia. The taste for adventure is all over this documentary and that is why it is one of the best motorcycle films for us.

The World’s Fastest Indian - From New Zealand to Utah

A biographical sports drama which revolves around racing legend Burt Munro. Burt Munro was New Zealand based racer and had a 1920’s Indian Scout Motorcycle. He kept working on his bike to make it faster every time. The movie, starring Anthony Hopkins, tells the story of Burt's dream to race in America and the obstacles he has to overcome to finally make it to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.

Road to Paloma - One man's quest

Jason Momoa plays Wolf, a native American that wants to avenge the murder of his mother. This endeavor takes him on a journey across America. The movie is beautifully shot and captures the raw beauty of the American outdoors. The old Panhead that Wolf rides in the movie, is a bike that many of us would want to own.

Easy Rider - The classic or the cliché

Yes it is a cliché to include this movie in the list, but few films have had such an impact on audiences worldwide. This movie is like a blueprint for other biker movies; the open road, the bikes, the freehwheeling attitude and an ending that left everyone shocked. Maybe it’s time to re-watch this classic during the winter, because no list of best bike movies is complete without Easy Rider.
