Amalfi Coast, Italy

The Amalfi coast in Southern Italy offers a ride that is unarguably amongst the world’s most beautiful roads. A road that tears along the coast, curving through the high limestone cliffs from Sorrento to Salerno past the smaller towns of Amalfi, Ravello, and Positano. But pay attention, it’s a huge tourist location, so avoid the hot summer months when the road is packed with campers, buses and trucks. Especially this time of year the winding and narrow roads make the ride more difficult and sometimes dangerous.
